Communism

‘Communism’ addresses the term from the perspective of the first years of the twentieth century in an environment where it was routinely understood as defeated and caught in the negative connotations of the past. Working with artists, academics, writers and collectives this project commissions and collects a series of propositions, counter narratives, abstract ideas, engaged political analysis and satirical commentary. These were developed over the course of two years and made public in the context of an exhibition, seminar, radio programme and publication, understood as experimental platforms for a future oriented materialising of the communist imagination.
